Competence growth and accomplishments
The digital advertising agency Biuro Podróży Reklamy INTERNET EXPLORERS has been operating on the market since 2003. Initially, as the first agency in Poland, we dealt solely with viral marketing. We carried out our first viral projects for brands like mBank, Real, Panorama Firm, and Statoil (thank you for trusting us!). From the very beginning, our actions were distinguished by responsibility in terms of their effectiveness. The creation itself was very important, but what was equally important was how many Internet users would watch it. The basis of our offer was a good plan how to reach the audience with the message. Since 2003, we have closely cooperated with the biggest entertainment and social networking services in Poland.
In 2006 we started extending the scope of our services with other tools of non-standard Internet marketing, among which social contests and online events became very important products. For the purposes of those actions, we started developing, apart from videos and applications, various websites and banners. The experience we gained by implementing social contests has been used to expand our offer, and we have transformed from a strictly social agency (no one would use this term back then) to an interactive agency with creative, social and media competences. At that time we carried out projects for companies like Invest Bank, GP Batteries, Drzewo Babel, Imperial-CinePix, Świat Książki, Leroy Merlin, Philips, Fly.pl and others. For the purposes of promoting online contests we have gathered in-depth knowledge about tools and operational resources of Polish Internet and have became experts in ePR as well as in effective purchase of advertising space, using such tools as native advertising, content marketing, performance, display, SEM, and contextual advertising. What is more, we have also learned how to effectively generate huge activity ad hoc. Thanks to that, our contests and viral videos recorded hundreds of thousands of unique visits.
Since 2009 we have held the official certificate and Google Partner title in terms of ad emission on Google Display Network.
Since 2009, we began to experiment more boldly with technology in our actions and started to create more sophisticated applications. Various projects were developed, including a program designed to help children learn to read and write that we created on DVD for PWN.pl (Dysfunkcje 2.0) and an augmented reality application for Samsung (3D LED TV). We also started to use video transmissions in our actions (Samsung Game) and to create e-catalogues, e-magazines and mobile applications (OBI). Since 2012 we started to rapidly develop non-standard, tailor-made event actions with the use of innovative technologies. We carried out an experimental marketing campaign for ASUS, In Search of Incredible, with the use of real time green box video capturing application we designed, and a campaign for Dekoral in which we used an EEG headband that scanned brain waves and was connected to a gigantic light installation which responded to participants’ brain activity with various colours, based on a mobile application we designed (Explore your Inner Colour campaign). The installation and event prepared for Dekoral were also used by other branches of PPG Industries in the UK, USA, Australia, Mexico, and France – each branch commissioned us to prepare a dedicated solution for its local brand. Another vital technological project was a virtual reality application with the use of Oculus and leap motion technology that was used to colour walls with gestures, prepared for Dekoral brand.
We have considerable online experience. We have created about 250 websites and over 100 videos, have run tens of profiles in social media, have provided a few hundred campaigns with diverse traffic (buying digital media), and have generated several dozens of content actions. Our campaigns have generated thousands of ePR publications, and we have also created a few mobile applications. Altogether we have implemented well over 700 digital projects!
We combine digital campaigns with non-standard offline activities. We like using guerrilla marketing and creative, unusual OOH media and cooperation with bloggers, vloggers and influencers.
Since 2005, in our activities we have been experimenting on our own testing ground. We are the publisher of several small online services and blogs which are a testing ground for us and help us gain knowledge and experience in effective digital advertising. All these experiences have made us an interactive agency that operates at 360 ⁰ in digital. Over the 14 years we have travelled hundreds of thousands of miles sailing through the Internet. On the net we have caught millions of users for our clients and have reached the furthest corners of the Internet. Expeditions to unexplored areas and discovering new resources of the Internet are the two things that turn us on most. This is how we started, and despite experiences in various fields, we have never lost our social roots. This is the reason why we understand Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat users so well and are successful in implementing effective campaigns on social networking sites.
We have received 26 industry awards and honourable mentions. On two occasions we have won the title of Agency of the Year in Poland. We were awarded the title of Agency of the Year 2014 in Poland by Epica Awards (whose chapter consists of editors-in-chief of marketing magazines from all over the world). We were also awarded the title of Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year in Poland by the industry agency Impactor (in 2015). In 2014 we won the Kreatura competition and received the Grand Prix (which hadn’t been awarded for years), three main prizes and two honourable mentions. From 2010 to 2016 we have won the following prizes and honourable mentions: Mixx Awards, Złoty Spinacz (Golden Clip), Srebrny Spinacz (Silver Clip), Golden Arrow, Webstar Festival, Pióro Roku (The Pen of the Year), Epica Awards, Impactor, Golden Arrow, and Innovation Award and Kampania Społeczna Roku (Social Campaign of the Year).. We received most awards for our campaigns for brands such as Samsung, Allegro, Bambino, and Dekoral and Szlachetna Paczka.
As a member of IAB Poland (Interactive Advertising Bureau Poland), we take an active part in the work of the Social Media group. We have cooperated in creating WoMM Best Practices document, WoMM handbook, IAB Internet strategic reports, brief specimens, and case studies. We have delivered speeches on numerous conferences organized by IAB, and BPR employees give lectures on interactive marketing at universities in Warsaw and Łódź.
In 2013 we won a prestigious tender for providing online services to IAB Poland. Our competences included strategic consulting, creating a new website www.iab.org.pl, and an industry blog www.iablko.pl, as well as other digital projects. We also supported IAB in marketing activities.
